Part of the broader Measure.11 project

The aim of this thesis is to characterise the transmission characteristics (error patterns at both bit and packet levels, and signal strength) of 802.11 a/b/g wireless LANs. 2005 efforts will focus on large scale data collection with over 100 "volunteers", including design of a robust experimental plan and rigorous analysis of the data.
